Over the past 5 years, “On Eagles Wings” has supported Stanley John Valayil from India who came to North America to be a pastor. Here is his story in his own words:
“It all started as a dream many years ago. As a teenager growing up in Kuwait, the only thing I wanted to do with my life was to be a preacher. I was born and raised in a Godly Christian home. My parents loved the Lord and prayed that they would have a son. When I was born a year later, they dedicated me to the Lord hoping that one day I would be a missionary. My only dream was to see the lost saved and the sick healed. In those teenage years, even though my walk with the Lord seemed like a rollercoaster ride with its steep ups and downs, the dream continued to grip my heart.
As my high school years came to a close, I was reminded of the dream that I had always had and I decided to take a leap of faith. I did not have everything figured out, but I decided that I should go to Bible College. I came across Zion Bible College in Barrington, Rhode Island and decided to apply. In a matter of months I boarded that Lufthansa flight and was on my way to be trained to be a minister. After my studies at Zion, I felt God lead me to go to seminary. I’m right now in my final year at Asbury Theological Seminary working on my Masters in Intercultural Studies.
My dream is for India and I am committed to reaching this vast nation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been traveling to India at least once every year for the past four years, ministering in churches in the cities and the villages. I spend time teaching at Bible school and training centers, and raise money to support the work in India. My vision and goal is to plant churches and build training centers. My story in one sentence would simply say: God is faithful."
"On Eagles Wings" Ministries has also been able to assist several small churches throughout the maritimes with various needs that they would otherwise be unable to meet. This includes helping both the churches and/or their pastors and families.
Please donate to this mission.
